Before Spring Break we made cookie islands. Since we were finishing up our study of landforms, maps and map keys, we used our knowledge for this activity. I gave them a cookie and a variety of candy to make their creations. They had to have at least 4 landforms. Once they were finished making their island, they had to name it and make a map and map key of it. Everyone had a delicious time, and all of the islands and maps turned out AWESOME!
